This excess PAN fiber is produced by the world’s primary fiber manufacturers. Fiber material can be cut from these tow materials to your order in nominal lengths of 0.0125" to 6". Buyer may order these fibers crimped 6 to 12 per inch.

Remanufactured carbon fibers from CFR have retained 100% of their virgin properties, have not been treated further by heat or chemical processes, can be cut to specified precision lengths, can be incorporated into airlay or wet lay nonwoven rolled cloth product, and compounded to specifications for molded product applications.

CFR precision cut fibers from tow are fire retardant textile fiber with effective heat blocking and fire barrier applications. Ideal for processing into nonwoven felt and fabric which does not burn, melt or drip, instead the fibers char and self extinguish. Processed PAN fibers stabilized in a high temperature process allows the finished product to retain their appearance, hand, and textile characteristics after exposure to open flame. These fibers are 60-62% carbon. This is dry fiber. This is not pre-preg.
